Featured Pattern

This pattern is always a free pattern.

This 7½" granny square is fun and easy to make and would make a great addition to your granny square pattern library.

Winter Wonder Granny Square

Every day, from now on, I will post either a members only pattern or a free pattern. It will say whether it is free or not. Once a week, I will offer 1 paid members pattern per week. It will be on Sunday Each Week. This is so I can feature current holiday related patterns, whether they are free or not.

Mini Organizer is Back!

I have added a new section to the site! Other Projects! So far there is only one project in there. The projects that will be in this section will be unrelated to crochet and paper bead making. I plan to add more random projects as time goes by. Most of them, in the future will be for paid members but the projects that existed before on Paper Bead Crafts and the JPF Crochet Club, that were not related, will be free if they were free to begin with.

My Plans for  2020

Points accounts will be coming back. Not sure when, when I figure out how it will work, I will let you know. Right now, all I know is there will be 3 levels of points account members and the levels will be based on how many points are earned. Redeeming points will not be included, just earning points for level access. It may take weeks to figure it all out. Anyone who paid or pays for membership will automatically be at the Gold level and have access to everything without having to earn points over time.

I am going to be working on these plans on my days off from my Census Job. Don't worry, the Census job is temporary, about 16 weeks total once I get going. It should be done sometime in October.

Tuesday's Tips

If you are crocheting a coaster that has two layers and is made out of thread, you might want to put a plastic liner between the layers to make the coaster stable. Just cut a plastic lid into the shape you need, tuck it inside your crocheted coaster before you close it up all the way. You can also use those foam trays for this purpose. But the plastic ones are washable forever.

Storing Dice or Playing Cards
If you play cards or dice games alot, you can make a soap saver and use it to keep your cards and dice in. You may want to use a bigger hook to make it bigger so the dice and cards will fit. You can also use the soap saver to hold marbles. This would also make a great double gift for any lucky kid. Just be sure the recipient is beyond the "in the mouth with everything age".
